The Process
Why LearnStorm?
- Develop a Growth Mindset - Mini-lessons each week teach students how to learn while encouraging grit and perseverance.
- Designed for Every Type of Learner - The program is intentionally designed to reach and benefit all students.
- Strengthen Grade-Level Common Core Math Skills - Students engage in grade-level math activities that help them master the Common Core standards.
- Prepare for the Smarter Balanced test - Each question is designed to mimic similar problems on the Smarter Balanced (SB) test down to the format and design of tools available. All questions have been vetted by the developers of the SB test.
- Encourage a Team-Based Spirit - Since all students in the district will be working together on the same team, it encourages unity.
- Celebrate and Reward Learning - Badges, Rewards, and More can be earned by individuals and districts for their hard work.
